Carrying children in bike seats

A front or rear bike seat is an excellent way to carry your child on a bike. There are different types of seats available and we've set out all the different options below.

Pulling children behind a bike is a good option for many families starting out cycling with their children.

Cargo bikes

Cargo bikes are particularly useful if you're looking to carry more than one child on your bike, or if you want to carry one older child. They're a great option if you're looking to make lots of journeys.
