We do not collect or process any “Special Categories of Personal Information”.

Visit our site – In common with most websites, our site logs various information about visitors, including internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP) information, referring / exit pages and date / time stamp.   We may use this information to analyse trends, administer the Site, track your movement around the Site and gather broad demographic information. Sign up for our newsletter – we ask you to provide consent to us storing your name and email address in order to send you our newsletter. We use a “double opt-in method” involving a form and an email confirmation when signing up, and you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at anytime by clicking the link in the latest newsletter, or contacting us.

Enter competitions and complete surveys – you may voluntarily enter competitions or complete surveys on our site, which may collect details such as name and email address.

Provide content for inclusion on our site – you may voluntarily provide us with personal data about yourself and your child(ren), when providing us with a product or route review or other material for publication on our website.  Please note that any information you disclose will become public information, and may be available to other site visitors and to the general public. We always seek your consent to publish this information on our site, and you can request us to remove the information at any time.

3. Who we share your personal data with

We may share your personal data with the following parties:

5. Where we store your personal data

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”).  It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers.  Such staff may be engaged in, amongst other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services.  By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing.  We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

6. How long we keep your data for

We will retain your Personal Information for as long as:

it’s needed for the running of our website: our retention period for data associated with cookies, user identifiers, or advertising identifiers is 38 months. This allows three years of analysis and comparison of data to ensure we’re providing our readers with the content they require at the right time of the year;

we need it for the purpose you provided it:  we will keep your personal details for up to two years after you enter a competition or complete a survey, or until it is obsolete / superceded in case of content published on our site;

you’re happy for us to use it:  you can unsubscribe from our mailing lists at any time, or ask us to remove personal data from our website or social channels at any time buy using the contact details below.

7. How we keep your data secure

We employ a variety of technical and organisational measures to keep your personal information safe and to prevent unauthorised access to, or use, or disclosure of it. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure.  Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk.  Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.  We ask you not to share a password with anyone.
