Which kids bike brands won gold at 2022 awards?

It’s awards time of the year – as we all start to look for the best kids bike for that perfect Christmas present it really helps to know that the bikes you’re reading about here on Cycle Sprog are being recognised across the wider industry.

So it's been really good to see two of our favourite kids bikes brands have this week taken home the Gold Medal in the made for Mums 2022 Toy Awards.

Kidvelo have scooped Gold for the “Best Balance Bike” in the Made for Mums 2022 Toy Awards.

Best First Bike Award - Made for Mums Toy Awards 2022

In the “Best First Bike” category in the Made for Mums Toy Awards 2022 the winner was the Woom2.

Our 4 year old reviewer absolutely loved the Woom2 when we reviewed it several years ago.

We were impressed with the colour co-ordinated brake lever which makes it easier for your child to remember which is the front and read brake.

It’s great to see Karen and Gary Wood being recognised for their new business as they were also named winner at the 2022 British Business Awards in the Start-Up Category.
