This morning, some lovely news reached us from the Family Cycling UK group on Facebook.

One of the founders, Ruth-Anna Macqueen, posted saying that the group has reached 15,000 members. Congratulations!

The group started back in 2013 and has grown steadily over the years.

There are several posts a day by parents/carers about cycling with their children.

Posts in the group range from questions about the best waterproof gear for kids to how to do the school run by bike.

The topic of cargo bikes also comes up quite often, as you'd expect.

Ruth-Anna said: "When we started back in 2013 I don't think I could have imagined how things would pan out.

"Thank you all for being here and being respectful, supportive and polite to each other, making this such a nice group to run!"
