The 2020 Tour de France is well under way, and it’s proving exciting for all those kids who love to follow their favourite riders, willing them on to win the yellow jersey. Those who predicted there would be no British interest in the race, given Chris Froome and Geraint Thomas being missing from Team Ineos, have been proved totally wrong. Adam Yates unexpectedly being handed the yellow jersey has proved an unexpected success. We know that a lot of children get very excited by this race, and love to wear their very own jersey, so we’re taking a look in this post at the 2020 kids sized yellow jerseys and KOM spotty jerseys.

2020 kids sized yellow jerseys now available to buy!
Every year the iconic yellow jerseys are released to co-incide with the run up to the race, and we’re pleased to see that this year is no different.
The 2020 kids yellow jerseys are direct replicas of the real thing, so are a great way to encourage young Cycle Sprogs to get out on their bikes. There are three designs for the 2020 TDF yellow jerseys.
The winners of the first two stages will receive a jersey (shown above) depicting the Grande Depart (which this year is on Saturday 29th September from the iconic Place Masséna in Nice).
The riders winning stages 3 through to 20 will wear a jersey depicting the French roads, and the overall winner of the race will wear a jersey showing the Arc de Triomphe (below), which will welcome the riders who reach Paris on the final day of the 107th Le Tour – Sunday 20th September 2020.
The Children’s Tour de France 2020 replica yellow jersey is made by Le Coq Sportive from 100% polyester, which is breathable and quick-drying.
Two of the designs are available in children’s sizes – the Grand Depart and the Final Stage (both shown above).
There’s a full-length zip on the front of the jersey, with a Le Coq Sportif logo and Tour de France logo on right breast along with “Le Coq Sportif” “wording on the shoulders.
The back of the jersey has several handy pockets, adorned with the working “Tour de France depuis 1903” on the lower back.
Sizing wise, the kids jerseys come in sizes 6 years through to 14 years, and Le Coq Sportive give the dimensions as follows:

If your child is more into their hill climbing, then there is also the 2020 Kids sized King of the Mountains Jersey, which has all same technical features of the yellow jersey, but just in the iconic spotty fabric.
Where to buy your kids size Tour de France replica jersey
There’s usually a rush on these jerseys as the race draws to a close and the more popular sizes tend to sell out quickly. This year don’t forget to factor in longer delivery times and more people taking up cycling during lockdown too!
