We know it can be a bit overwhelming trying to find the perfect bike for your child and we're here to help you.
With our new Kids Bike Search it's easy to find a quality kids bike whatever your requirements.
Our bike database contains over 200 quality kids bikes! This is quite a lot and we understand you need to narrow down your options.
Our search allows you to use only your child's age or wheel size to see all the bikes available for their age or a specific wheel size.
Before you start take a moment to GRAB YOUR FREE KIDS BIKE BUYING GUIDE to help you with all the information you need to find the perfect bike for your child.
Narrow down your kids bike search
The more details you have about your child, the better. Do you know their height, or their inside leg, or even their favourite colour?
Add it in our Kids Bike Search and you'll only get shown blue bikes for a 5 year old who's 116cm tall. Which is just 17 bikes, to be precise!
If you know what your child will be using the bike for, you can search for a specific type of bike:
- Balance Bike
- Balance to Pedal Bike (also known as 'growing' bikes)
- Kids Bike
- Mountain Bike
- Road/Dropbar Bike
- Toddler Bike
You can also narrow down your search with other criteria such as brand, price range, or features such as bottle cage mounts, mudguards or a kickstand.
View the results
When you view the results from your search you will see a wonderful array of quality kids bikes which are suitable for the criteria you've filled in.
You'll get to see the bikes that we've reviewed and recommend at the top of the list, but you can also order them by price.
The Kids Bike Search and the search results will show up in a slightly different way depending on whether you're using a desktop or a mobile device.
Different buying options
For most bikes, there are several buying options available:
- Buy new
- Bike Club
- Buy used
- Buy local
The price shown in the Kids Bike Search results is the price to buy the bike new, but there are also secondhand buying options available as well as leasing through the Bike Club.

Keep the school run rolling this term
Term is well underway, routines are settling in, and that makes now a good moment to build cycling into everyday life, not just at the start of term but for the weeks ahead.
If you've been meaning to try cycling to school, there's still no pressure to do it every day: even once a week is a great way to build confidence and get everyone comfortable on their bikes.
The mornings are noticeably cooler now, and the evenings are drawing in too, so it's worth thinking about layers, lights and waterproof bits sooner rather than later. A little planning helps: finding routes that avoid the worst of the traffic, and building in a bit of extra time while everyone gets used to riding in the dimmer light.
Whether it's the ride to the school gates, a weekend trail or just a spin round the block, every journey this term is a chance to build confidence, stay active and make cycling part of family life. Half term is coming up too, a great excuse for a longer ride together.
Explore our guides for getting kitted out for cooler days, route planning and tips to help your family cycle to school with confidence this term.
