Fancy coming to chat about family cycling?

Some very exciting news from Cycle Sprog HQ!!! I’ve been asked to chair a panel on family cycling at the Festival of Women and Bicycles, which is being held in Oxford on 4th and 5th March 2017.

It’s going to be great to chat about family cycling with Isla Rowntree (Islabikes Founder), Josie Dew (author and family cycle tourer) and Maryam Amatullah (award-winning Breeze Champion).  I can’t wait to hear about their various experiences and I hope we’ll be able to inspire lots of families – be it to start cycling together for the first time, or to embark on a cycling adventure of a lifetime that takes then far away from home.

There are lots of other exciting activities taking place over the weekend, from yoga workshops to inspirational talks and films to bike maintainance workshops.

The Festival of Women and Bicycles is being organised by The Adventure Syndicate and Broken Spoke Bike Co-op.  I’m really looking forward to hearing lots of tales of long distance cycling adventures – you never know, I may find inspiration for Cycle Sprog’s next big adventure!

Come and join the fun at the Festival of Women and Bicycles

The Festival of Women and Bicycles will be held over the 4th and 5th March 2017 at the East Oxford Community Centre, 44 Princes Street, Oxford, OX4 1DD.

It would be great to meet up with some of Cycle Sprog’s readers at the event.  Tickets are £45 for the whole event, with a limited number of £35 Earlybird tickets available. It’s £25 to attend for a single day – the family cycling discussion is on the Sunday. Whilst this is billed as a Women and Bicycles event, it is open to everyone, and on the Sunday there will be some great family-friendly events taking place before the panel discussion.
