Frog Tadpole Mini
Frog’s website says the next shipment of new Tadpole Mini’s to the UK will be Spring 2022
Welsh based Frog Bikes have a vast range of kids bikes, all designed with the age of the rider in mind.
Their very smallest bike is the Tadpole Mini balance bike, which comes with tiny 10” wheels.
It is one of the very smallest balance bikes available and it’s suitable for children with an inside leg of just 24cm.
It has a safety steering lock which stops your child from turning the handlebars too vigorously which can cause accidents.
The Frog Tadpole Mini balance bike does have a rear brake which will allow your child to get used to braking when they are ready. However, don’t expect a very young child to use them – feet are more than adequate for stopping!
The tyres are pneumatic, which means you can take this bike outside and ride on a variety of surfaces, and there’s a quick-release seat post so the bike easily grows with your child.
We’ve not reviewed any of the Frog Balance Bikes, but we have tested a number of their pedal bikes and have always been very impressed with the quality and longevity of the bikes.
If the Frog Tadpole Mini is too small for your child, then the larger Frog Tadpole with 12″ wheels requires an inside leg of at least 31cm.
