The Specialized Rockhopper 27.5 is a classic mountain bike that has been going for decades. In fact, Cycle Sprog’s founders Karen and Chris bought Rockhopper Comp’s way back in 2000 (years before they got married and had kids) and it was these bikes that really got them into mountain biking.
As with everything, the range has got more complicated, with the bikes now coming in a variety of models. The main difference is in the quality of the components as you go from the standard model, through the Sport, Comp and Expert models. Just choose the one to suit your budget and you or your kid will have a fine time out on the trails.
The bikes are available in XS and S frame sizes making these suitable for younger teens or smaller adults.
