Chance to win an Islabike for Life (or at least 5 bikes worth!)
Here at Cycle Sprog we’re painfully aware of how much it costs to keep kids in bikes over the years. They grow so quickly don’t they?? So, we were rather impressed to see that Islabikes are running a competition to win up to 5 Islabikes to cover the duration of your child’s cycling. Not a bad prize!!!!
We’ve been lucky that our boys have been able to ride Islabikes over the years. Before we launched the Cycle Sprog website, we were recommended the Cnoc single speed starter bike and headed over to the Islabikes HQ at Ludlow to buy one. It served both our boys well, and has been passed onto to a family friend. Our youngest loved riding it along the local disused railway line:
Once we’d set up Cycle Sprog, we were lucky enough to be sent the geared Beinn to review, which is a great all round bike for both on and off road riding – and messing around in puddles:
Having got a taste for the muddy stuff, they were then asked to ride and review the Islabikes Creig mountain bikes, which really got us into mountain biking as a family:
Of course, there’s the N+1 rule and the urge to get out on skinny tyres!! They’ve also been able to put the Luath road / cyclocross bike through it’s paces too, both on the road and track.
Of course, we’re fortunate enough that Islabikes kindly send us bikes to ride and review, which means our boys have grown up riding these bikes. However, if you don’t want to go to all the hassle of setting up a website, forging relationships taking loads of photos and writing for a living, it’s much, much easier to just enter their competition!!
How to win an Islabike for life
In order to give your little one the change to ride an Islabike for life (or to be precise 5 bikes, which is the prize) you just need to share a photo or video on Facebook or Instagram of your child enjoying cycling, and tag it #islabikeforlife (remember to make your post public so it can be seen).
The competition will run from 7th November to 26th November 2018, when four finalists will be picked. There will then be a public vote using Facebook “reactions” to decide the lucky winner on the 28th of November 2018.
There’s only one entry per person only and full T’s&C’s are available on the Islabikes website.
