The world's largest family bike ride! Kidical Massive 19th September 2015

Kidical Mass is a movement of family cycling, that started in Eugene, Oregon in April 2008 and has now spread to over a dozen communities throughout North America and beyond. Each Kidical Mass is a family friendly bike ride through a community. They generally meet at a park and end not too far away at another fun spot (park, ice cream shop, pool, or special event). Each community figures out the type of ride, routes, locations, and events that work best for their area families.

The world's largest family bike ride! Kidical Massive 19th September 2015

Saturday 19th September is the first ever Kidical Massive.  It will be the biggest global family bike ride ever as thousands of families around the world go for a bike ride together.  Rides are already planned in Canada, United States, Hunguary, Belgium, Israel and the UK. The aim of Kidical Massive is to show that Kids are Traffic Too and that cities that plan for family biking are more livable, sustainable, profitable, and FUN!

At the time of writing, in the UK there were rides already organised in London, Manchester, Dumfries, Ipswich and Litchfield.  Click on the links below to find out more details, and sign up for the events.  As more events could be added, please check out the Kidical Massive Facebook page to find the nearest one to you.  It's not to late to set one up in your local area - just go to the facebook page to register.
