Kiddimoto Darwin pedal bikes to be crowd funded

Kiddimoto have announced that they are going to launch a Kickstarter campaign to crowd fund their new kids pedal bikes.  The balance bike manufacturer revealed their new range of 16″ and 20″ wheel kids pedal bikes at the Cycle Show last month, and will be using crowd funding to bring the idea to market.

Both bikes will have a lightweight aluminium frame in two finishes, Cobalt Blue and Brushed Aluminium. With the 16” wheel bike weighing in at around 7kg it will just about make it onto our list of light weight 16″ wheel bikes.

The bikes will be fitted with puncture resistant tyres and a belt drive system to reduce the amount of maintenance required.  The 20″ wheel version will be fitted with a 3 speed Shimano gear system.

The Kickstarter campaign will launch on 7th November 2017, and more details can be found on the Kiddimoto website.
