Hadleigh Farm to inspire a new generation of MTB riders

Olympics Mountain Bike childrens cycling route to openGreat news for budding Mountain Bike riders.   Bike Radar reports that the London 2012 Mountain Biking venue, Hadleigh Farm, will be opened to the public after the Olympic Games are over.

The redevelopment will include a beginners section measuring around 500 square metres with a section of trail built for children and adults looking to practice basic mountain biking skills.    There will also be that all important cafe, to refuel before the journey home.

It will be a wonderful opportunity for children who have been inspired by the Olympics to be able to ride at a venue they’ve seen on the TV – maybe a future Olympian will develop their talent there.
