2016 Tour de France PS4 and Xbox One game now on sale
This week Sustrans released the results of a survey that showed children spend less time playing outdoors and more time using technology than their parents did as youngsters. Of course here at Cycle Sprog we're huge advocates of getting kids out on their bikes, but sometimes even the most ardent cyclist needs some down time. If you want to keep the cycling bug going even when they're not out on their bikes, the 2016 Tour de France PS4 and xBox One game is now available.

The 2016 Tour de France game is suitable for kids, and whilst we've not played it ourselves, we know of an 8 year old who has really enjoyed the game.
The game allows you to be a professional rider in one of the teams, although be warned that the names of the riders are changed, so you can't actually be Chris Froome or Alberto Contador.
This year's version promises improved graphics and soundtrack, the ability to choose rider physique and the chance to choose new rides and backdrops. Plenty to get everyone in the mood for Le Tour, which starts on 2nd July.
The 2016 Tour de France PS2 and Xbox One game is launched in the UK on Thursday 16th June. If you're playing on PC you need the Pro Cycling Manager game instead.
