There’s Room on the Broom for Froome!

This evening my boys and I have been having great fun renaming our favourite kids books in honour of the final stage of Le Tour de France.

Our favourites were:

“Room on the Broom for Froome” by Julia Donaldson

“The Secret Segan” by Enid Blyton

“Harry and his Bucketful of Yellow Jerseys” by Ian Whybrow

“Percy Jackson and the Titan’s Bike” by Rick Riordan

To be honest my 9 year old came up with a version for each of the books in the Percy Jackson series (which he is crazy about at the moment) – Percy Jackson and the Bikes of the Labyrinth, Percy Jackson and the Sea of Bikes, etc etc – you get the idea.

It kept us amused for quite a while, and reminded us of some of our old favourite stories.  We’d love to hear your versions – leave us a comment, or tweet us @CycleSprog using the hashtag #tdfkidsbooks
