New Moonbug Balance Bikes launched by Bobbin
Bobbin Bikes have launched a new design of balance bike for summer 2017. The Bobbin Moonbug balance bike adds to their growing selection of classically styled kids bikes, which complement their popular adult bike range.
The Moonbug balance bike is aimed for those young riders aged between approximately 2 and 4 years of age - the minimum saddle height is 37 cm and the maximum is 47 cm.
Available in two colour scheme (matte red or gloss blueberry) each bike comes with the distinctive Bobbin basket, which is ideal for storing all the curiosities gathered on a bike ride.
The frame, forks and handlebars are all steel, the 12" wheels alloy and the tyres pneumatic. This gives an overall weight of approximately 5kg, meaning it's a mid-weight balance bike, designed more for style than outright speed.
The Moonbug balance bikes do not have brakes, which means that your child learns to break with their feet at this young age.
The saddle and basket straps on the Moonbug are made from a vegan "leather" look vinyl, a great touch for those of you who don't like to use animal products.
With the release of the Moonbug, Bobbin are expanding their balance bike range, which up until now has consisted of the Gingersnap balance bike (shown below), which has a much lower "step through" style frame in pastel shades of mint green and pale pink.
The Bobbin Moonbug balance bike has an RRP of £100 and is available at Wiggle.
